Summer Solstice Celebration

We both had a super productive day in the trusty Super 1 Foods parking lot. Having service again had us all jazzed up. As the clock stuck 5 though, Ben ran in to get a 6 pack so we could celebrate the summer solstice.

We drove into the west entrance of Glacier where you can take Going to the Sun road, along Lake McDonald. This lake is ginormous and there’s rocky beaches all along the way.

We set up shop at this one. I laid out on the picnic blanket while Ben skipped rocks and sat in his chair. It was quite a lovely night!

The big event was our “softest rock” competition. Ben has one of the final contenders in his lips here:

All this fun left us with limited time for dinner. I whipped up some pancakes, or as the Wilson brothers would call this monster, man-cakes. We didn’t end up eating until after 10… oops!
