Ben’s Big Adventure

Our last evening in Glacier, we went to a Farmer’s Market in Columbia Falls at “The Coop.” There was live music, and we bought out the place. We hit up 8 vendors:

  • Fresh Arugula and Baby Kale

  • Farm fresh eggs

  • Pepperoni sticks and pork ends

  • Loaded nacho fries with brikset

  • Sausage and sour kraut roll

  • 5 pastries from Polebridge Bakery - our favorite bakery in Glacier!

  • Huckleberry Vinaigrette

  • Huckleberry Mule and a few beers

Loaded up with fun and food, we headed over to the east side of Glacier to sleep at Ben’s trailhead - Brand Pass.

He wanted to top off our stay in Glacier with a crazy boy hike. His plan was to run it, make it a “real” workout (???). He also wanted to do it at 6am, so it was out of the question for me.

He came back exhausted and sweaty at 9am to me, just waking up haha.

And just like that it was time to head west! Taking scenic routes, our first notable stop was The Bison Range where we got up close and personal with this herd! Didn’t get many good pics because we were soaking it all in, but the babies were absolutely adorable.
