Tableau dashboard that enables users to explore the widespread wage gap in the United States across occupations.

I decided to take this project a step further by creating data art.
It was just so crazy for me to look through these 353 occupations and see a gender wage gap existing in 332 of them… That’s 94%!! I chose to visualize this with suns because it will hopefully shed some light on this issue, and it sure does fire me up.
There are 18 total visualizations - one for each industry. I used D3.js to code the visuals and Inkscape for the final designs. My code is available on Observable.
